What is the Enneagram and how does it help couples?
The Enneagram is a personality framework with nine types, each driven by a different core motivation. Most tests sort you by traits like introvert versus extrovert. The Enneagram gets into why you do what you do. For relationships, that matters. Most friction between partners comes from two people with different needs bumping into each other without realizing it.
How many couple combinations does NineWays cover?
All 45 unique pairings. Nine types, 45 possible couple combinations, each with its own patterns, strengths, and friction points. NineWays treats every pairing as its own thing.
Can this actually help during a real argument?
That's what Repair Mode is for. Most fights happen because two people are protecting different things, and neither one gets why the other is so worked up. Repair Mode walks you through it with specific language for your pairing. Not "take a deep breath" stuff. Actual sentences you can say out loud.
Do I need to know anything about the Enneagram first?
Nope. There's a built-in test that takes about 10 minutes and figures out your type based on how you actually show up in a relationship. If you already know your type from somewhere else, you can skip it and jump straight in.
